Sky Sailing

Sky Sailing was started as Adam Young's first solo project in 2006, before he started performing and recording as Owl City in 2007, though he left the project in favor of Owl City. One album has been released by the project - An Airplane Carried Me to Bed which was released on July 13, 2010, and features some of the early recordings of Adam Young, before he toured asOwl City. Upon the release of An Airplane Carried Me to Bed, Adam Young described the collection of songs on the sky sailing website:
I've kept these recordings secret for a long time and they've never seen the light of day until now. Long before Owl City was ever a spark of a flame, a lot of blue-collared working days were spent absentmindedly daydreaming about what would ultimately become this collection of songs. From the perfectionist musician's perspective, a song is never truly "finished" but rather "abandoned" and thus, after a lot of inspiration and reckless experimentation, I emerged from the basement with an 11 song record which I affectionately entitled, An Airplane Carried Me To Bed. - Adam Young

Windsor airlift

Windsor Airlift formed in the fall of 2002. Influenced by bands such as Philmore, Ace Troubleshooter, and Relient K, WA was classified as pop punk. They released "The Basement EP" in April 2003, while Tony and Adam were finishing their sophomore year of high school and Andy was still in junior high. From April through the summer, they played several strings of shows including Sunshine festival, Bethel Church, Crop Walk, Brick & Amp, Tim Nustad's basement, and Ironwood Springs.

After playing at the Steele County's Battle of the Bands in the summer of 2003, WA made a major genre change. The group abandoned every aspect of their pop/punk genre and began writing wordless music inspired immensely by Unwed Sailor. They quickly released "Selections for a Fallen Soldier" which sold out and was never redistributed. Songs on this album included Autumn Reflections, A Red Tide, Streets & Driveways, and It's Been A Friday.

Through the winter WA began intensely writing and recording "Selections for a Fallen Soldier, Vol. II" while continuing to play many weekend shows. The album was released in Spring 2004, one year after their major genre hop.

In the fall of 2004, WA entered into the Club 3 Degrees band tournament, playing music deemed 'math rock' with influences ranging from mewithoutYou and Unwed Sailor to Norma Jean and Don Cab. After making the third round, WA decided it was in the band's best interest to remove themselves from the tournament. Though misunderstood by the judges and some fans, WA believed the tournament was misrepresentation of why the group existed in the first place. During this time WA also began creating short films for their songs to be played on old tvs at their concerts.

In the Spring of 2005, WA released "Hotels," a 4-song EP influenced by electronic artists such as ATB, The Album Leaf, and From Monument to Masses. Along with this release WA produced two full-length albums, "Qiu!" and "Moonfish Parachutist." These were the first two albums recorded entirely in Adam's basement (the others were all done in Tony and Andy's).

Throughout 2005 and 2006, Windsor Airlift continued to play shows and write new music, along with the additional member to the group and long time friend, Michael DeMars.

The end of 2006 brought about more change. Adam and Michael moved to Minneapolis, and Tony and Andy were living in Iowa. The group continued to write over the next year and released "Ocean City Park" in the fall of 2006.

Andy and Adam played several WA shows in 2007, every show consisting of new music. Fans were probably a little confused, but it added to the creativity of the band. During this time, WA shared the stage with Unwed Sailor (their all-time biggest influence) twice in Des Moines at The Vaudeville Mews.

WA went through a lull over the next several months, while Adam's Owl City was beginning to take flight. Andy and Adam collaborated on a project during this time via the internet and released the album "Beneath The Crystal Waves." In 2009, WA rebanded to record their album "We Rule," two nights before Andy's wedding.

In 2010 Windsor Airlift released Flight.

The members are currently writing for a new album entitled "The Meadow."

Swimming with Dolphins

Swimming with Dolphins is a synthpop band from MinnesotaUnited States of America. It was formed in 2008 by Austin Tofte and Adam Young, as a side project to Young's Owl City. After gaining considerable mainstream popularity, Adam Young left the band to focus on Owl City. The band released one EP, called Ambient Blue. A full length album is currently being recorded and is expected to be released spring 2011.[1].
On June 21, 2010, Swimming with Dolphins signed onto the Seattle record label Tooth & Nail Records [2].
Swimming with Dolphins debut album entitled "Water Colours" is scheduled to release on May 15, 2011 on Tooth & Nail Records.
A small preview of the track "Easy" from their upcoming album "Water Colours", was played on Episode #43 on the Tooth & Nail Podcast.

Port Blue

The Airship

In my humble opinion, The Airship adalah "Master Piece" dari port Blue, kalau di Owl City, EP of june

1. Up Ship!

Ditambah lagi suara beat drum
yg sedikit aneh terdengar di telinga.

Banyak rumor mengatakan klo Adam Young ini sosok Christian tulen/ taat / soleh ( bagi muslim )
Mengapa demikian ? mari kita cek lagu Port Blue berikut : Mr. Chen sailmaker

Disini sisi agamais Adam young tertuang

Coba dengar lagu yg 1 ini, The Axial catwalk.

Sayang, data yg ane simpen hilang smua. padahal disana banyak penjelasan tentang siapa orang yg pidato
dan unsur2 lainnya

Mau dengar suara orkestra indah ? coba cek lagu "The cargo bay" and "aft hatch". Damai bgt gan suara biola nya

 The Airship

           The Albatros EP

1. Silver Blueberry = Hello seattle
2. An Enchanted Evening = Fuzzy blue light
